Board of Directors

The Board of Directors typically meets once a month on the last Wednesday. A director must actively participate in the management and operations of the organization. This includes preparing for and attending board meetings, reading and evaluating all materials received in advance of meetings, reading meeting minutes, reviewing financial documents, exercising independent judgment, asking questions to obtain information necessary to make informed decisions, and so on. Serving on a board is a significant commitment.
